Efficient creative operations bring structure, process, and metrics to the creative workflow to optimize timeliness, capacity, and costs.

An Unlikely Pair

Ops & Design

PROJECT INTAKE
Creative briefs should not involve handing over information and then walking away. A proper project intake form and process, can help avoid costly mistakes. The sole purpose of this intake form along with the department strategy is to define the problem of the users in context to that problem.

Design Systems

Design systems are made of many components, patterns, styles, and guidelines, which can help operationalize and optimize your product design efforts. But different projects might not be a good fit for a design system all the time. The main factors to consider when creating a design system are the scale and replicability of your projects, as well as the resources and time available. When implemented well, they can educate team members, streamline work, and enable product owners to tackle complex problems.

RAPID Prototyping

With a prototype, people can quickly and easily see your idea while encouraging collaboration. It can also be a way of managing scope and costs. Making decisions early in the process helps to keep projects in scope, but it also helps to make cases for additional investment. Prototypes are also a great tool for concurrent engineering or working, allowing for each squad to work simotaniously. It also gives you a visual guide to the finished product that is cheap, fast, and relatively easy to create.
